An informed risk response is fundamental to the success of IT risk and assurance professionals, and the importance of this tactic has been amplified since the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic. Alternative work arrangements such as working from home have put strain on organizations as they work to mitigate increased exposure to IT risk.
If risk professionals wish to effectively execute such a risk response, they must identify quantifiable key risk indicators (KRIs) that can offer warnings as risk begins to escalate. Classifying and managing KRIs will strengthen IT governance during the pandemic and beyond.
To help organizations name and maintain their KRIs, Galvanize and ISACA® will host the “KRIs for IT Governance in a Post-Pandemic World” webinar on 10 September at 11AM CDT (UTC -5 hours). Greg Slayton, client partner at Galvanize, will examine leading, lagging and current KRIs and how participants can identify KRIs within their own organizations. ISACA members who attend will earn 1 continuing professional education (CPE) hour for the event.
